An interior detail starts dry: everything out of the car, seats run forward and back, then a slow vacuum through the seams and under the tracks where crumbs and gravel collect. After that the panels, vents, and door jambs are cleaned by hand with brushes that work dust out of the grain, and the carpets and cloth seats are shampooed and pulled back out with a hot water extractor so the dirt leaves the car instead of soaking deeper into the foam.
Book one when the inside has stopped looking like yours: cloudy glass, a film on the dash, carpets gone flat and grey, a seat stain you have quit noticing. Leather is cleaned and conditioned rather than dressed to a shine that wipes off on your sleeve. Expect the car to come back smelling like nothing much at all, which is what clean actually smells like.
